For small Indian teams outgrowing their SMB BSP

Gallabox works until it doesn't.

Gallabox is one of the better Indian BSPs for small B2C teams — clean no-code flow builder, decent Zoho integration, used by names like American Tourister, PVR, and Tata 1mg. Where it gets uncomfortable: ~₹7,500/month for the Growth plan plus per-message billing, reporting that doesn't go deep enough for scaled teams, and add-on costs that compound fast past 6 agents. Here's when to migrate, and where the studio path saves real money.

Built on Meta Cloud API direct · No platform markup · Owned, not rented

Honest take

What Gallabox does well — and where it stops working.

Gallabox is fine if:

  • You're a small B2C team (under 6 agents) on Zoho or HubSpot
  • You want a no-code dashboard managed by non-technical staff
  • Monthly message volume is genuinely small (under 3K msgs/month)
  • Standard broadcast + basic chatbot use cases work for you
  • You don't need deep analytics or custom integrations
  • You like the predictability of a SaaS subscription

Gallabox stops scaling when:

  • You hit 6+ agents and per-agent add-ons start stacking
  • You send 10K+ messages/month and per-template billing compounds
  • You need custom flows that don't fit the no-code builder
  • You want deep reporting (CAC by campaign, agent-level analytics)
  • You integrate with non-standard systems (custom DBs, ERPs)
  • You realise you're paying a platform fee plus message markup
The cost math

What Gallabox actually costs at scale.

Below is real math for a small D2C brand running 10,000 messages/month with 5 active agents — a common Gallabox profile.

Cost componentGallabox Growthaivite (Build + Studio)
Platform subscription~₹7,500 / month₹0 / month
One-time buildN/A₹35,000 (once)
Studio retainer (optional)Not offered₹1,200 / month
Per-agent add-on (above 6 agents)~₹500-1,500 / agent₹0
Monthly platform spend (5 agents)~₹7,500 / month~₹1,200 / month
3-year platform total~₹2.70 lakh~₹78,200 (saves ~₹1.92L + ownership)

Meta's per-message rates pass through at cost on both sides — same regardless of provider.

Gallabox at scale: ₹2.70L over three years for platform access, plus per-agent fees once you cross 6 agents. The studio path: ₹78K, no agent caps, code your team owns. ₹1.92L saved AND no scaling penalty when your team grows. Cancel Gallabox at any point and access ends. The studio build keeps running on your own Cloud API instance regardless of what you pay us next month.

Migration in practice

If you're on Zoho, the migration is actually painless.

Most Gallabox customers we migrate are on Zoho CRM or HubSpot. We rebuild the integration against your CRM instance, port your existing templates, recreate your active flows (often improving them), and run a parallel-test window before cutover. Your team keeps using the same CRM — only the WhatsApp infrastructure underneath changes.

Typical migration timeline: 5-7 working days. We don't touch your customer data or contact lists; those stay with you. The WhatsApp Business Account moves to your direct Meta Cloud API instance — owned by you, not us, not a BSP.

Common questions

The honest answers.

Gallabox is decent for small Indian B2C teams running standard use cases — basic broadcasts, simple chatbot flows, and Zoho/HubSpot CRM integration. They serve 10,000+ businesses including American Tourister, PVR, and Tata 1mg. Their no-code flow builder is well-designed. Limits show up at scale: per-template billing model adds up at high volume, reporting is shallow, and the add-on math gets expensive past 6 agents.

Gallabox Growth plan is approximately $89/month (~₹7,500/month) with yearly billing — that's just the platform fee. On top of this, you pay Meta per-message rates (₹0.86/marketing message in India 2026 after the January rate hike). Per-message charges apply to every template send under the new per-message billing model. A typical 10K-message month: ~₹7,500 platform + ~₹8,600 Meta = ~₹16,100/month. Past 6 agents, per-agent add-ons push it higher.

Gallabox at 10K msgs/month with 5 agents: ~₹16,100/month all-in. Studio path: one-time ₹35,000 Build + ₹1,200/month Studio retainer + ₹8,600 Meta direct = ~₹9,800/month after the build. 3-year comparison: Gallabox ~₹5.8L, studio ~₹3.9L including build. Savings ~₹1.9L plus no per-agent add-on caps. The studio code is yours forever.

Three things Gallabox does well that we'd preserve in any migration: clean Zoho CRM integration (we rebuild this against your Zoho instance), no-code flow builder UI for non-technical team members (we provide a similar admin interface), and broadcast scheduling. The studio build preserves all of these — just without the per-message markup and agent caps.

Not worse, different. Gallabox has stronger Zoho integration and a cleaner no-code flow builder. AiSensy is cheaper and has zero markup model. Interakt has better D2C-specific tooling (Shopify integration, catalog management). All three serve similar SMB Indian use cases. For most businesses we recommend AiSensy if you want the cheapest BSP, Interakt if you sell physical products via Shopify, and Gallabox if you're heavy on Zoho. Custom studio build above all of them once volume justifies it.

Three scenarios. One — your team has under 4 people, you want a dashboard to manage WhatsApp daily, and you don't want to think about infrastructure. Two — you're heavy on Zoho CRM and their integration matters more than cost optimisation. Three — your monthly message volume is genuinely small (under 3,000 messages) and the studio Build's ROI hasn't kicked in yet. Outside these, the studio path saves money and gives you more control.
